但因为一个F而全军覆没

最后却得不到认可？

Though I have predicted it beforehand, but deep down inside there was a dwindling little fire of hope that somehow it will be ignored.
And now the fire has been put out by slamming it straight on my face.
The sadness was so overwhelming but I have no one to turn to.
